Overview
This is a one day escape away from the city centre to the tranquility and hidden delights of the Yarra Trail. You will be amazed how quickly you feel distanced from the city which will remain only a few kilometers away the whole day. Highlights include a farmers market, a convent, two historic boathouses, hidden riverbanks, surprising historical anecdotes and an opportunity to go boating on the river or visit a thriving bat colony. This one day escape will make you see Melbourne and the Yarra River through a new lens.

$110 per person (early bird rate $95)

Group details
Numbers are strictly limited to 16 people. Participants of all ages are welcome. Kids 12 and under are half price ($55) if accompanied. Kids under 2 are free.

Arintji Café in Federation square (closest café to the main stage) at 9:30 am.

10:00 11:15 am Tour of the Yarra Trail hidden gems begins
11:15am noon Exploring and sampling at farmers market
12:30 1:00 pm Tour of the Yarra Trail hidden gems continues
1:00 2:00 pm Picnic lunch at riverbank
2:00 3:00 pm Boathouse visit: Option of boating (own cost) or walk to bat ___________________colony (free)
3:00 3:30 pm Tour of the Yarra Trail hidden gems continues
3:30 3:45 pm Afternoon tea

Pace of the ride
Slow - with lots of short breaks.
The rail trail is suitable for a mountain bike or hybrid, but not a road bike with thin wheels. The short distances and minimal road crossings make it our most family friendly ride.
